are available here in Yorkshire Woods and the surrounding areas.
The substantial brick
homes in our neighborhood have been steadily increasing in value,
reflecting the core benefits of the neighborhood. Owners respond to
this by improving their homes and yards, further increasing the
quality of life here. Most of the homes are brick with limestone
accents around windows and doors and at entries. Hardwood floors and
thin-coat plaster predominate. Most homes have full or partial
basements and attached or detached garages. A goodly portion of the
homes are two-story colonials with more square footage than the
typical brick bungalow.
We are located in the
northeast corner of Detroit. This ideal location adjacent to main
arteries such as I-94 and Kelly Road and close to 8 Mile Road and
Gratiot Avenue, makes our location a great one for accessing all
parts of the SE Michigan area.
SE Michigan is a center
for the arts. .
There are a smorgasbord of
dining choices in the Yorkshire Woods area.
Here in Yorkshire Woods,
and in the adjacent neighborhoods, we have all the necessary stores
to support a comfortable lifestyle. In Harper Woods, to the north,
we have Eastland Center, a major SE Michigan mall. To the east we
have the Grosse Pointes with their fine selection of shops.
Here in Yorkshire
Woods there is a neighborliness that makes living here a great way
of life. People are involved and care about their neighborhood.
